USDA Ferret Regulations

The USDA Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service requested input on the need for ferret specific regulations on the housing, care and transport of ferrets as governed by the Animal Welfare Act. The deadline for public comment was November 18, 2005. Details on the original Petition for Rulemaking, and information on how to access submitted comments are here.
